True that. Age difference really matters less and less the older both parties get. 16 and 23? Probably a bad idea. 22 and 34? Not such a big deal. I think what matters is the overall intellectual and emotional maturity of both parties, not the age. For example I know of 14 year olds that I initially thought were at least 17, even 18+ years old, and yet I also know of folks in their mid-20’s who have the mental maturity of a high school sophomore.

It’s a case-by-case basis, but in any case, who are you to judge?
